A Sensitive Cartography of Expression, Memory, and Belonging.
SHNB is a process-based participatory artwork by Sophia Arrazola, developed during her ArtAsyl residency / ifa CCP CrossCulture Programme in Cologne.
The project approaches migration as a human right and a fundamental condition of life. Rather than seeing the city as a fixed territory, it asks how people in movement participate in making a city through memory, care, adaptation, language, and belonging.
At a time when migration is often narrated through fear and control, the work proposes a space to pause before judgment. It does not ask for personal migration testimonies, but opens careful forms of participation through which memory may appear as an object, a word, a gesture, a silence, a sound, a place, or another personal trace.
Conceived as a participatory archive in formation, the project becomes a sensitive cartography of what people carry, protect, remember, and choose to share.

Before becoming a public artwork, Sky Has No Borders is a listening process. This short form invites you to share how Cologne is lived, remembered, crossed, and cared for. Your response will help guide the next phase of the project and a possible public-space installation in early September.
